This is the set for Playmakers’ production of “A Dickens’ Christmas Carol, A Traveling Travesty in Two Tumultuous Acts.” We open in a little less than two weeks and are busy finalizing – learning the lines and figuring out the technical challenges of scene transitions, lighting, sound, plus polishing the sight gags. There’s lots of sight gags in this show. Really. This play feels as if it could have been written as a sketch for a 1960’s television variety show. As the title indicates, this show is supposed to look as if it’s a set that travels around from theater to theater. It’s not finished. It needs to look more aged and abused. I do like doing shows.
